We love a good cause but a classic Missoni woven prints in a slipper??? Who does not love this? On top of being fab they are hand-crafted, made in Italy out of fabric leftovers (we wouldn’t hate to waste these beautiful Missoni woven fabrics…) and 10% of the sales of each shoe to the Small Steps Project!

Who makes them: Muzungu Sisters, a company founded by Dana Alikhani and Tatiana Santo Domingo to promote fair labour practices by showcasing artisan-crafted goods from around the world. If you ask us, a key factor in today’s business!

These sippers are their first designer collaboration done with Italian shoe designer Cecilia Bringheli’s CB (www.cbmadeinitaly.com) and Missoni who donated the fabric.

Price: £275 (around $450) without taxes or shipping, unisex from size 35-44 (can vary by style) Buy for a good cause at: http://muzungushop.motilo.com/

The project: Small Steps Project is a volunteer-based humanitarian organization borne out of a desire to provide shoes for children forced to live on municipal rubbish dumps around the world, protecting children from injury and enabling them to take small steps out of poverty.
